We’re back! After a long hiatus we have another sultry groove for you, this one’s the first original that we’re letting loose out into the wide wide world so enjoy it. It’s not quite the traditional disco house that we love an inspires us, there’s a little bit more of a bassline that the genre calls for and some wobbles that usually scream dubstep, but say something a little different in this case. Any input or feedback is welcome!

Hopefully the wait for the next something won’t be quite so long.

We now present Ludiculous.

Twelve tracks of luscious Ludacris vocals layered over a variety of our favorite beats. Unlike other mashup albums, we’ve stuck to just a single vocalist but switch the beats up for maximum partyablity, spanning the gap between disco, electro, pop, dubstep, and whatever Pretty Lights does. More than any other rapper, Ludacris consistently lights the party up. Year after year, he’s throwing down the flow that makes you wanna jump up and get your booty-shake on, no matter what your walk of life may be.

Three of these tracks have been previous released as stand-alone singles and inspired the creation of this full album, so they might sound familiar.

Duncan laid these two together during a set recently and it was one of those instant clicks. Ludacris vocals just seem to lay smoothly on a variety of beats. We figured the track was too fun to just keep as a DJ tool, so here it is.

So we haven’t posted for a little while. We’ve been busy working lots of new angles and smelting both beats and lyrics in our laboratory. Our scratching is also coming along, and we may get another mashup out soon.

We have been working on creating a full hour-long set to play live, probably at the Earth Party (April 30). We’ll make sure that sucker gets recorded and have a full-on live performance for DL in a few weeks. Hopefully.
