How Low (Ludacris vs Alex Gopher) by THEWETBANDITS
Sometimes two tracks come along that just beg to become one. We have a bunch of other projects in the works but threw this little number together on the Wet Show last night and liked it so much we polished things up and put it together today.
Turn up that volume for this one
Ibiza Nights vol 2. has come and gone with great success - Vol 3, Summer Sessions sometime around May will be the final event.
Here’s a clip from the sound/light check during setup in case you missed it.
Doubt (THEWETBANDITS Remix) by THEWETBANDITS
“Doubt (THEWETBANDITS Remix)” - Delphic
We’re usually not too into this sort of stuff, but put this together for a little remix competition. It’s pretty emo/indie dance, you might like, love, or hate it but we figured we’d share.
The original can be found here
We have more goodies in the works, so it’ll be back to Bandit dancefloor thrashers soon enough.

New track! Hopefully we can continue to post something new every week. We have been making some solid headway towards making our own stuff from scratch, so stay tuned for that and more.
GET HYPHY
Closer DJ (Lil’ Wayne vs Astrix) by THEWETBANDITS
Threw together a new track for our loyal listeners. Hopefully we will be getting back on track and post more music more regularly as the semester starts up again.
100% Hypnotizin’ by THEWETBANDITS
The Notorious B.I.G. vs Chromeo
Oh man… finally got our new track up. This slow jam is made for makin’ babies. Enjoy.
With the year coming to a close in the next few weeks we thought it might be relevant to reveal our favorite tracks from the last year. These are the ones that make people rip their pants off and have seizures on the dancefloor — the songs that have never failed THEWETBANDITS. No download links included, sorry I am lazy. However, if you know how to use google none of these songs should be too difficult to find.
BONER JAMS ‘09:
1. Black Kids - I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You (The Twelves Remix)
This song makes people happy and that is pretty much all I have to say about that.
2. Don Diablo - I Am Not From France (Louis La Roche Remix)
A great track if you are looking for a hard drop. Funky enough not to be overbearing.
3. Pryda - Rakfunk
We love Pryda/Eric Prdyz, but his music is a little too “Progressive Housey” and not “Poppy” enough for most of the parties we play. Rakfunk, however, seems to have universal appeal. And speaking of Eric Prydz…
4. Eric Prydz - Call On Me
Sure it is old/overplayed/too commercial/borderline europop. Bottom line: people absolutely love this shit, and the music video is awesome.
5. Chromeo - Cross the Dancefloor (Treasure Fingers Remix)
When the beat snaps in at 0:30 seconds booties start shaking. Dave’s voice also soothes the soul.
6. Cicada - Psycho Thrills (Dyebox Remix)
Great track to throw on when you want people to start moving a little faster, plus it drops into some of that Justice type distortion everyone likes to hear.
7. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Heads Will Roll (A-Trak Remix)
Everything that passes through A-Trak’s hands is gold, and this one got popular enough that the crowd can usually sing along.
8. Ida Corr vs. Freddy Le Grand - Let Me Think About It
This song is really a bit dated, but the dancefloor always reacts with joy when it comes on.
9. Michael Jackson - Thriller (Louis La Roche Remix)
Words cannot describe how much we love Louis La Roche.
There it is folks, nine tracks for ‘09 — all of our special secrets. Duncan may chime in with a few more, but as you may expect, we like to keep some songs to ourselves.
P.S-
When you wanna go fast:
Flosstradamus - Act a Fool (Ravestradamus Mix)
When you wanna go slow:
Deadmau5 - I Remember (Caspa Remix)

What Is Relax (Haddaway vs. Frankie Goes to Hollywood) by THEWETBANDITS
New rework of two our favorite dance hits from decades past. The semester is either done or nearing completion so relax to the smooth sounds of bandit beats and dance your brains out.
We have only played with Torq for an hour or so, but we have already deemed it the tits. It is super fun mixing the waveforms, and there are loads of effects and features. Once we slave it to our usual Ableton setup, world domination will ensue. The M-Audio Conectiv interface is great too. Simple to hook up and good enough build quality that it should not break unless to try to crush coconuts with it (which reminds me: the salvia challenge). Also check the picture of Duncan — he is mixing fast enough that you can barely see him.
While in Seattle the last few days we checked out Gruv, a music/dvd/used record store on Capitol Hill that we’d heard had a big vinyl dance music section. It was a lot smaller than we were hoping for, but just down the street at Everyday Music there was a MUCH larger selection and our collection has grown by a lot.
Torq should be arriving early this week which allows us to play all our digital music on the turntables, but we still wanted some real records so we can learn to scratch and mix without computers and have been enjoying the sweet sounds of vinyl since we got home.
Check out this high energy drum and bass meets the ATL little treat we’ve got for you today. You may recognize the Sub Focus track from The Wet Blog but we decided to make it a bit better. In fact, it’s the best outcome of any collaboration between any Georgia Hip-Hop and UK D&B that we can imagine.
